Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.
People sometimes ask me about the setup I use to build software and keep everything running. Here's a list of the hardware, tools and apps I rely on every day.
Workstation
Mac Studio, M1 Max, 32GB RAM (2022)
Quiet, compact and still more than fast enough for everything I throw at it, from Xcode builds to a dozen containers running at once.
BenQ PD3220U 32” 4K
My main display. Plenty of room to keep the editor, the browser and the simulator side by side.
BenQ PD2725U 27” 5K
The secondary display, rotated into duty for docs, terminals and the app I'm testing.
Logitech MX Master 3
The horizontal scroll wheel alone makes it worth it when working with long timelines and wide tables.
Development tools
IntelliJ IDEA
My main IDE for TypeScript, Vue and React. The refactoring tools and code navigation are hard to give up.
Sublime Text
For quick edits, scratch notes and opening huge files that would bring any IDE to its knees.
Claude Code
An extra pair of hands in the terminal for exploring codebases, refactoring and the boring parts of the job.
OrbStack
A much lighter alternative to Docker Desktop for running containers and Linux machines on macOS.
Laravel Herd
The quickest way to get PHP and Laravel projects running locally without fighting with the setup.
TablePlus
A clean, fast database client that works with every database I've needed.
Proxyman
Essential for inspecting and debugging the network traffic of the Transporta'm mobile app.
Productivity
1Password
Passwords, SSH keys and secrets, all in one place and available everywhere.
CleanShot X
Screenshots and screen recordings with annotations, ready to drop into a pull request or a bug report.
Magnet
Simple window management with keyboard shortcuts — essential with two large displays.
PixelSnap 2
Measuring anything on screen in seconds, perfect for checking implementations against designs.
Tailscale
A private network between all my devices, so my home server is always one hostname away.
